Had lunch with friends today in their lovely house on a couple of acres on the outskirts of Kalamunda.
Not only are there the 'usual' kookaburras, parrots and cockies in residence but also a very splendid peacock! Apparently two males and a female arrived (from where who knows) years ago, settled in and soon there were...12!!
Eight have been relocated and three males and a female remain,this one 'boss of the garden'.
He spent a good part of the afternoon sunbathing (thought it would be rude to keep dashing off with camera primed.. another time perhaps!!) and wandering down to peer through glass doors to check us out.
He will roost in the tree tops tonight and tomorrow, rock up to tap at the kitchen door and wait for his breakfast.

How very cool is that!
