Birds

I noticed this goldfinch on the ground only after I saw Mowgli gently sniffing it. It did fly off, but came back again. It was obviously injured but was still able to walk, fly and eat.
There is one extra taken with my phone this morning, this guy must also have been injured, as this photo is not cropped, and my phone camera is not great. I leaned over the wall and there he was. Clearly I scared the s$¥£ out of him.
The back garden project has moved a step closer to beginning. I bought the wood today. It’s going to be amazing. It may take some time though.
