Behind the barrier
We walked to town to collect some books from the library: “A Pinch of Nom book 3” and “Some kids I taught and what they taught me” by Kate Clanchy for me and “Raising a puppy” for Susan. We’ve been talking about getting a dog for at least a decade!
On the way we passed this redevelopment at Maidstone East Station. I wanted to capture it in a different way which is why I’ve included the Heras fence and taken it through the fine mesh that’s attached to the fencing. It gives the impression of being “inside”. Anyway, it’s different! And it matched the grey, cold day.
This morning I was busy reconciling bills and monies, sowing some broad beans and speaking to my cousin’s husband who is the sole carer for my cousin who has dementia. We’ve been helping him with who to contact for help and support based on our own experiences.
Susan meanwhile was with her mum at the hospital for an eye appointment. There will be several further appointments for treatment to attend in the coming months
