Kilt Walk training walk - 02/03/2013

South Queensferry to Joppa
Not planned for this one, last minute route find as Isobel unwell last few days.
7.10 set off for Kirkliston - along the old A8000
Took the cycle path... must be an old railway line very straight and kept in mind for Abigails cycling
Along the A8 past the Airport to Gogar, excellent bright sunshine by this time.
Walked Corstorphine past the Zoo to almost Haymarket - took a few detours round the road works which took me Palmerston place - Drumsheugh Garden to Charlotte square - walked along to Lothian Road, down into the grass market (picture taken)...
This is where temptation started - Oink wih the piggy in the window mmmm hog roast roll
then the Fudge house - mmmm fudge
Did not give in, walked past the Parliament around the base of Arthurs seat... out towards Portobello, again tempted with another visit like last week to the Blue bean Cafe.
Through Portobello to Laura's Granny & Grandads at Joppa 12:04.
