LD 345. Familiar route, changed times

The last time the Cabinet met face to face in Bute House was almost a year ago.

I haven’t walked my usual route from the flat to Charlotte Square since then but today I had to do so to attend an early morning optician’s appointment in Frederick St .

I was very struck by the empty streets and the closed premises - hopefully we will soon move forward from this but the effect and cost of the pandemic have been and remain great and impact on every one of us.
