In A Big Country

Today, I went for a walk in Scotland. If only.

Obviously, that can't happen but I managed the next best thing. I went shopping for our neighbours and took advantage of the drive out to go to the woods above the canal behind Whatstandwell. Compared to the weekend madness in my local park, where the crowds are unbearable, the peace and quiet was fantastic. That it reminded me of the woods where I used to walk in Scotland and the sun was burning bright was was the cherry on top.
