Nature's Stained Glass?

Flipping heck it was a snell wind today.

I wasn't happy when I went to the shop this morning and found that they have slipped back into their bad habit of having fresh produce with very sort dates. There is no reason for it - other than trying  to get people into the store more often in the hope they will pick up more than they would in doing a weekly shop.

Some time was spent at the lathe (not as much as I intended - it was just to darned cold. But I have started a second piece .... and I have ordered some finish which should arrived tomorrow. So I will need to get my finger out in the morning.

I walked up to the post-box and grabbed a snap of the colourful leaf casing and some of of Squirrel's earrings.

After lunch I had to get out of the livingroom while SWMBO watched the response to the budget - couldn't take smarmy so & sos , their backstabbing and Gimme, gimme, gimme attitude and complaining about everything.
So I went upstairs and played about with the dried flower (more shots over there).
