A new bench at the top of the Jubilee wood is dedicated to the memory of Canal and River trust volunteer. I know the woods well so know that while there is a view to be enjoyed from the bench now, it will disappear behind a bank of stinging nettles come summer.

The first time I mentioned covid in this blog, was one year ago today. Who'd have thought then that 12 months later, I'd have been vaccinated, have an appointment for the 2nd and have weekly tests?

I tried to encourage Sarah to register her test this evening so all she has to do is the swab in the morning. I doubt she will. She will spread everything across 3 tables at work tomorrow morning and give us a running commentary!
