Inbound Bumble Bee

Wild Wednesday

I heard this large bumble bee long before I saw her.  She wasn't terribly keen on having her photo taken and I thought I might have scared her off at first.  I ended up having to stay quite still while staking out her target plant for several minutes before she eventually flew in to visit again, and I managed to get this airborne shot (that's the bee that was airborne, not me you understand).  

That's not a bad result on a cold wet dank day :-)
