feel the heat

Now we’ve decided on getting a log burner Mr I couldn’t wait to see if it was ok behind the fireplace, so he took the fire basket, grate, and surround out this morning. There’s a lovely big hole at the back so he put a big bit of polystyrene in front of it to keep out the draught. Of course, it’s been a lot colder today than it has for the last week so I’ve painted a warm fire on it. Good job we’ve got central heating as well. Nelly and Ziggy actually sat in front of this for a while!
