Chip - - chopping .....

...... wood !!

This morning started misty & 4%c by 11.15am it had risen to 9%c but stayed at that all day ( well until 4.15pm anyway). After a What's ap video call to Mary in Thailand, funny see her wearing a mask by the side of the pool.She said was because of the pollution not Covid! Apparently she is going to an Island in the South as where she is isn't good at this time of year, just before we finished the call her daughter Nikki came back from work, but it was nice to see her too.
As I hadn't done much the pasted 2 days , I had to get on with more jobs. I carried on with the chopping of brambles / vicious old Rose's down , the thorns of which was dangerous to passers by. After 2.5hours I went in for a cuppa, 20 minutes later it looked like rain. So I needed to " bag ' up" and complete the task I'd started. Alas it started to rain generally, so I kept on with the task, hey ho , I ended up getting wet through yet again.
I'm now sitting down with a cuppa , but I am disappointed I wasn't able to complete the job I'd started.

Thoughtful ..... of how the dank weather has made a difference to how quickly it's getting darker earlier tonight.
