Conversations

A dull grey day but after a morning of meetings I listened in through the afternoon to the first in a series of Edinburgh Futures Conversations. Seriously impressive and diverse set of speakers with a lot of interesting things to say about the lessons of the pandemic and the future of health globally. Do so prefer when we focus on the great things we are and can be doing - together - rather than a discourse of brokenness.
Had some supper whilst I chatted to A on her way home, then a long laughter filled chat in the evening to my friend from university G who's lived in France since graduation and who I haven't seen for ages. We were laughing about how we don't think to FaceTime because it never used to be possible but having exchanged a couple of texts we just decided to call!
