Late afternoon sunlight beautifully highlighting the carving of the Gordon Highlanders regimental badge on the Tyrie War memorial. All the soldiers from the parish who died in WW1 served in the Gordons. The motto is derived from 'Bide and fecht' - Scots for stand and fight.
