The money pits...

A "nice" surprise on my way home tonight to discover that two and a half weeks and probably thousands of gallons of water after I first reported the leak in my street, the water company have finally come along and stopped the flow leaving these two lovely big holes in the road. It'll be interesting to see how quickly they put things right given that the holes are next door to a primary school and the kids are all due back in next Monday.
