Industrial detritus

After all that snow, sudden warmth and my first day out this year without a sweater. We'll pay for it, as they say.

Many think all these rigs parked in the Firth, doing nothing, are wonderful "because jobs". Not that many I suspect, though some are undergoing maintenance. Actually most are parked up while the oil price has been low. The price just went up quite a bit, and one of the rigs departed this morning. Proper jobs. Good thing all round. But the future is wind and hydrogen.
