Phin makes a new friend

Phin had a busy day today. Our dog trainer came this morning and taught us a few more techniques for recall. He was exhausted at the end of the hour long session as he’d worked really hard.

I nipped off to the supermarket and home for a quick sandwich for lunch before taking Phin to meet a friend of mine and her 14 week black Labrador puppy Bonnie. They were both happy to see each other and Phin was quite well behaved and didn’t spend all the time jumping on her. It was lovely to spend half an hour catching up with Anne who I’ve not seen since last January. We’ve agreed to try and make it a weekly catch up as it will be good for the puppies to socialise.

Home to finish sewing in the ends in my scarf before chicken enchiladas for dinner.
