Deepdale

Dan's tutor from RNCM couldn't make their (Zoom) lesson, this morning, which meant we were free to go out for a long drive. Since the lad can basically drive now, I thought we'd go out to Thornton in Lonsdale, and then up over the top and down through Deepdale to Dent, which is as challenging a drive as he'll get around here.

And indeed, we did meet a few cyclists, cars, and even a truck coming the other way along the narrow, hilly, and winding lane, but Dan coped with all of it. And he enjoyed the drive, which is the main thing. I have to say, it's one of my favourites, even on an overcast day, although, as you can see, there was the occasional patch of sunlight.
