Spring brings close-up loveliness to garden

Out in my garden early this morning, I found this gorgeous star-like and moisture-bejewelled liverleaf (Hepatica nobilis) flower from the buttercup family. This was still in shade and so the previous night's dew still adorned the purple-blue petals. I love the detailed structure that this close-up reveals in the flower.
