Talking it through - #EdinHour

Out and about for a little while today to meet with Rob from Valentine Guest House and Sandra from Little World Online to discuss their idea to set up an Edinburgh Hour on Twitter.

As I have been one of the hosts of #ScotlandHour on Twitter since it first got going in mid-2011, I was happy to share some of the experiences and pros and cons of trying to run a Twitter chat.

It was #ScotlandHour on Twitter later in the evening, and quite a challenging one at that as we were trying out a new format. It seemed to work well and I think we will be following the same format next month. Next Thursday I have been invited to the Scottish Parliament along with the other co-hosts of ScotlandHour to hear a motion congratulating us for this initiative. So exciting!
