Rooks

The field that grew barley last year had been ploughed when we saw it today, but this one - which grew oats - still has the stubble.  There's a planning application on the go for the building of houses on this field and the one beside it where we often saw a deer last year. I'm not sure what the rooks were finding - there's no sign of left-over oats, so maybe they were digging for worms.
