Combing the Beach

When we first moved to Paignton I thought I would be getting up at dawn every day combing the beach and making artefacts with my finds. It would be my profession. It would be on my passport. I do a bit of beach-combing but it is mostly litter picking. I am still working on my only driftwood artefact. It is nearly finished. Another year or two and it will be done.
