"Blue skies nothing but blue skies....."

A lovely spring like day.  
Blip is a perfect reflection of the fence posts at that beautiful blue sky.

We went down to Rampside and walked along 'the old line'  The pat was once a railway line.. but over half a century ago.  Now it's a lovely place to walk, especially today. There wasnt a cloud in the sky and the sun was twinkling on the water. As it was a Sunday ( we so often wonder what day it is! ) we expected it to be  busy but the family groups that passed us came in clusters and then we had the place to ourselves. 
A nice leisurely stroll . 

Another fantastic sunset tonight on our teatime walk. I heard a little girl (5 ish) say "Look mummy a rainbow "
" No dear it's a sunset"
" No mummy look properly .. the sky is a rainbow "
And of course she was right.. the sky was smudgy stripes of purple , blues, greens lemons apricots with a red ring around the sun"
