Calming evening river scene

For a combination of work and spinning bike reasons, I didn’t get outside until after 5pm today, so my blip was taken in evening light off the Great Junction Street bridge. Just a short potter to bring my steps to par. Gasping for breath after a vigorous spinning class.

Nothing special today. A couple of meetings largely bookended the working day, and in between I got on with some peer review stuff that’s still sitting on my to do list. Finishing the big document that arrived on Friday night took me until lunchtime. No long enough segment of time to start anything substantial.

Tomorrow, I’m taking half a day off. First time since the New Year.

Maybe I should log it in my annual leave calendar. I think we’re supposed to do that now....
