Blossoming

First of all, many many thanks to everyone who commented or visited yesterday's Blip of Louie and his Great Auntie Ose.  We were absolutely thrilled to make it to number 1 on the popular pages and we are managing to cling onto our moments of glory 24 hours later!  You are all very kind and supportive in moments of joy, and of course those times of pain that come to us all at some time or another.

Today has been a more difficult day to find a blip so I went out to find the River Arrow in a place I hadn't visited before.  It has been much colder today and much greyer so I was pleased to find this blossom by the river and played a bit with my lens...

We had planned to mow the lawn yesterday but the mower suffered an injury with its cord so it has had to go to the lawnmower hospital.  We have a standby hover mower so we used that today.  To be honest, it doesn't do a very good job but it took the tips off!  I am looking forward to the day when Rob decrees that we can have a new Eric...
