sleeping with kingfishers

Finished it today. I’m pleased that it suits the room. Gorgeous cotton poplin, beautiful to work with. Took a while to do 8 buttons and buttonholes though. I found some pretty buttons to match from my auntie’s collection. She always had hundreds of buttons in all colours and sizes sorted in jars and boxes. I always feel she’d be very happy to know that I’m using them now so many years after she collected them.
