What a thrill...

to open my eyes to this sight! The rising sun makes the top of the ridge glow, then the Pine woods are lit, then the Birches and finally the uprights of the garden Birches. Stayed outside from 0700 until 1630, walking, gardening and sitting. Such a glorious day! There were Tits, Finches, Thrushes and Blackbirds in the woods, Goosanders , Mergansers and Goldeneye on the river, Honey bees from the hives in the paddock and growth everywhere! I was covered in pollen from Alders and Hazel.
