It has been a lovely day - although I still had to scrape the ice off the car before going out (the sneaky staff in the kitchen slipped in 3 extra meal recipients today - luckily I noticed).

We have new tenants.
I wasn't sure if it was just checking out the box because when it flew off a Coal Tit landed, looked in and immediately shot off again. However, a few seconds later, the Blue Tit arrived back and went straight in - then re-emerged with something in its mouth which it flew off with  it returning a few seconds later - and this behaviour continued for some time.
Whoopee!
