Autumn?
That’s how it looked this morning on my early walk with my neighbour, especially after a glorious spring like day yesterday the fog was certainly a reminder of a different season.
Last time we walked alone during lockdown it was actually Autumn, November, in very similar weather.
Never mind we still had an enjoyable walk through the woods to Wilsden and then up Wilsden Hill, no views today, before dropping down to Bents Lane and Goit Stock. The snowdrops in the garden at Hallas Bridge, which is always worth a look, shows the right time of year and the dippers on Harden Beck, but perhaps not the mist drenched cobwebs.
We had a good catch up on family and holiday plans, Covid permitting, as well as the possibility of when we can walk as a group again, the last time being New Years Day.
Nice to greet March whatever the weather.
Last night I got a photo of Jude clutching a bag of biltong (apparently part of a Christmas present), think maybe it’s time to wean her onto solids! Extra
