Egret stalking...

Happy March! Let's see what this month has in store for us all!

A grey start to the month here, but determined to get out and do a walk so after a trip to the Co-op, I ended up walking through the park to the creek for my glimpse of the egret! There's only been one recently so not sure where the other one has disappeared off to! I could happily watch them for hours! The avocet was there too, along with some oystercatchers, teal ducks and redshanks.  

Then I took the Thames Estuary path that runs between the C2C train line and the creek, heading towards Pitsea for a change. Just a shame it takes you by the sewerage works which stunk today!! Will have to explore that way another time, and take a nose peg!
