Left it ‘til late in the day when it was cooler to go out for a walk, but the sky started clouding over. Turned out it was too much to hope for sunshine, a passer-by with fair hair to catch the light and a break in the traffic. Two out of three.

The French film festival starts this week - at another cinema - so looking forward to The Godmother, having enjoyed the novel, and K’s pick Antoinette in the Cevennes, selected because Noemie from Call My Agent is in it. He usually goes for boy films.
