A Grey Day

....but it was dry! I really wasn't inspired to blip today but it's hard to miss a day having so built blipping into my daily routine, like cleaning ones teeth! I was really enjoying gardening, lots of weeding and preparing beds for some vegetables. I saw a new bird at the feeder and we have just looked it up and it's a Siskin, my bird book says they are often found feeding with Redpolls, another bird which is new to us this year.
So my blip was taken on the way to Schull to collect Rachel from work, a bit gloomy but that was the day and there is an acrid smoke smell lingering in the air from all the fires too. Aquaculture or mussel farms are a common sight in the bays here.
