It's Warming Up

The river is mostly unfrozen, but this short stretch still looks like winter.  With the rain and temperatures in the 40s, it's starting to thaw in the small spots where there is ice. 

A busy weekend of fun things coming to a close too fast.  Na'iema starts "school" tomorrow and three of us will be sending her off to pre-school.  It will be interesting to see how it goes for her as she has been at home for nearly 3 years with very limited interaction with children her  own age.  She's outgoing and confident so I expect she will do fine. 

A couple of good movies this weekend.  I Care A lot (a bit disturbing) and Queen of Katwe (uplifting). Katwe is a movie about some Ugandan children and the game of chess.  I'll leave it there.
