Martinborough.....

.....a small rural settlement known for it's large number of vineyards producing fine Pinot Noir wine. Other industries are beef and sheep farming, growing olives, lavender and nuts and also tourism.

Above is the iconic Martinborough Hotel and the entrance to Union Square.

We're here for a couple of days for hubby's nephews wedding, they're getting married in a rural location. The last time we were in Martinborough was in March 2004 when my brother got married in the gardens of this hotel, a very special and memorial time.

We're looking forward to spending time with family for the next few days.
