Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

It's a tough life

This is Cleo in her favourite place, on the window ledge between the curtain and its lining, enjoying the heat from the radiator. Note the elegantly positioned leg which serves as a counter balance. With minimum effort she can turn her head to see any invading pigeons. Poor cat, life is so much hassle!
Sunday again so church first then Zoom coffee after. I do enjoy catching up with people and hearing their news.
After lunch we went out for a walk to D'mains Park. It was quite busy but people were generally keeping a good distance. It is true that two and a half weeks in from our vaccine I feel a little safer knowing that I am protected to a degree and so are some of those I meet. We walked down the old woodland paths which I played on as a child rather than the new tarmac paths. I tried to find the place in the South East corner where the swings used to be, but apart from some lower lying ground with younger trees on it, there was no sign. I spent a lot of time there in the '60s.
We watched the last episode of the Charlie Boorman series this evening, it's been a lot of fun and reminded me of some of my own adventures in India.
Keep well and safe everyone, Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant tomorrow, where has the time gone.
