Amaryllis. Our younger son gave his mum several bulbs at Christmas. This one has bloomed first - they come into flower 6-10 weeks after planting, so that’s about right. My late father grew these. Loved the strong red coloured ones.

Coronavirus virus cases and deaths continue to slowly drift down; cases in Scotland still lowest per 100,000 in UK but a way to go.

Family are fine.
