Dangling by a Thread

Today was a fairly uneventful event, again. Started my essay, read through my first draft of my dissertation and just did work most of the day.
One Big thing about today is that all my family were going down to Yeovil to wish my grandma a happy 80th birthday. Which Due to the amount of work I have I was unable to attend. Supposedly the only one not able to :S I feel terrible about it, but then I have to think to myself if I had gone I would've never got my dissertation done and I would be feeling even worse.
