Parting Gift

Last day on paediatrics! Didn’t think I’d get attached to any kids since we were just here a few weeks, moving around different wards. But one in particular was hard to say goodbye to today! My friend who did all the magic tricks a few weeks back on Blip. She’s still here, despite being told she was moving a few weeks ago - they can’t give her the support she needs here. But she’s kept going, has made me laugh and taught me lots with every visit, and her Mum is an inspiration too.

Today she gave me this light sabre she made - how cool?! She has the other one. A lovely gift to remind me of a special girl. xx
