Place In The Sun

A few years back House Sparrows were numerous in Northamptonshire - in recent times, not nearly so much. It was cheering to see this little female enjoying its perch in the sun this morning.

This morning dawned with a frost and minus 3C though the day soon warmed - provided you were in the sun. Its the last day of February of course and the last day of meteorological winter - yay!
