Elegant dereliction

F and I managed to work out how to set up his bedside radio. The instruction leaflet was incomprehensible but with Youtube and our trial and error we managed to work out the basics.  Neither of us are any good with technology but as F said, a child of 5 would probably have been able to do it!

It was a beautiful sunny day so we went for a walk from his house, going along the road leading towards The Racecourse.  We stopped for me to photograph this lovely old gateway.  It's an old entrance to Brogyntyn Estate parkland but is no longer in use.  I love the curves and shapes, such an elegant design.

When I got home I did some gardening, it was a pleasure to be outside working in the sunshine.
