Through the Vineyard...

Maisie and I took our early walk along a favourite route. At one point we walked alongside the grapevines in a vineyard on the true left bank. There is public access along there these days. I get to sample the grapes to check their sweetness. The anti-bird nets are still on the grapevines. The sun-touched golden hills in the distance are part of Meadowbank Station. A glorious day but at 30C in the afternoon it was very muggy and drove us to seeking the shade.
