Holy grail

Ben didn't make the match today, probably just as well he had a rest after this week. They won anyway 3-1, so that's ok.

After a catch up in the square, we checked out the reservoir levels at Cuber and then Gorg Blau. All looking very full after the last few weeks which is good news, even if we have felt a bit damp in the valley below as a result. There was no one else cooking up there and so I had a jolly time, with plenty of dead wood about for burning. There was quite a bit on the road too after the storms and a couple of mild rock slides, so it was inevitably disturbing to meet the usual motorcyclists full pelt and head on at blind corners. Especially after seeing a car on its side, it having mounted the roadside barrier. They had a lucky escape then!

Jolly sausages and fried potatoes anyway and back to warm up two boys and a dog after a quick trip to the weird house that Shirley's writing about for Tuesday's article. Now there's a funny story, Sauniere and the Grail....
