SUCCULENTS

I saw this grouping of succulents in a pot on my walk & was reminded that sometimes plants look happy where they are planted.  I alway say:
"Gardening is like baseball.  Every 4th time at bat you set a hit.
Sometimes it's a homer."  

I see it with my seedlings.  Under the same conditions, some are doing great, (Tomatoes, Cosmos, Borage, Bachelor Buttons) & others are struggling (Watermelon, Chili Peppers).  It's a mystery.

Yesterday we had a 3.2 earthquake centered a few miles from our city.
My friend, who lived through 2 big, local earthquakes gave me recommendations.  I will will add them to the wildfire prep & carry on.

On a lighter note, I got a text with an appointment for my 2nd COVID
vaccine for Tuesday, 3/2/21.   I hear it might be rough for a few days after, so I am planning  "my convalescence."
