Eye-catching sign

The wind was howling last night! High winds were in the forecast, but we thought we'd dodged them, then the power went out around 8 pm and came back on about 5 hours later. We heard some crashing in the forest and went for a walk down the trail today. A couple of smaller trees and plenty of branches to navigate around, lots to be cleaned up if someone gets motivated.  Ha! When we passed this little stand with bundles of kindling for sale, I thought that anyone who needs kindling could find plenty of twigs on the roads or in the forest. Nice to support locals though. There was a cash box but no sign with the price for a bundle.
Extras: arbutus in the sun; random house numbers, quite the collection!
