Birnam Hill

Our wonderful weather is continuing, with wall to wall sunshine and blue skies. Club walk today, the coach took us to Perthshire, and we had coffee and scones at the Arts Centre in Birnam, before starting our trek up Birnam Hill. Quite a long upward trek, to 1300 ft., but worth every bit of effort, we were up in the snow at times, and the views were just stunning.

Had lunch sitting on the summit, took lots of pictures, then headed down, an back to Birnam along the River Tay.

Had an hour in the Atholl Arms Hotel, such luxury, comfortable easy chairs and couches and great company.
