Hazelwood's Ski World

Glorious day - sat out on the balcony in beautiful warm sunshine for hours... Then Mike took me to where for years he owned a caravan, near Whisby on the bypass, at the water ski lakes owned by the Hazelwood family, containing multiple world champions... (remember Mike is / was a top water skier - see https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2755558301562309009). Watched someone slaloming up and down the lake on this gorgeous day (see extra - she was only a relative beginner, but ski-ing at speeds of over 80mph!!), then home for hugely disappointing rugby match - sport continues to bring me misery upon misery - cricket, football and rugby alike... But good time with Mike once more, and we both sold some more wine too - friendship and economic survival are frankly much more important than sporting success for our teams!!
