Village Pond

Went to the bakers early to get in before the rush then went for a walk to the village pond and the old clay pits. I was hoping to get some frog pictures but there were none down there. I don't think the pond is in very good health it has been almost dry the last 2 summers and it's been years since it's been as full as this. I have had a word with the parish nature group but they say its ok. When I was young there was so much frog spawn that you could almost walk on it.
After lunch Moreen and I went for a short walk and I moved the bird feeder to a fresh bit of lawn so the bit where it has been over winter can recover.
