Pun Filled Birthday

I've had a great day so far. Cards saying Snappy Birthday, Mappy Birthday and Have A Brie-lliant Day have been appreciated. I haven't been able to meet up with any family of course but we've managed a couple of video calls. We had an Alexa call this morning with our grandsons watching them make a cake for a long distance candle blowing out session later on. It was quite scary watching Joe cutting up the butter for Rory to weigh, using a quite serious looking knife, daughter#1 closely supervising.

The candle session had to be brought forward as Joe was keen to try the cake, having already been caught sticking his fingers in it as it came out of the oven. We had a family Zoom call with daughter#2 and her fiancé included as well. I blew out the candles on my Sainsbury's cake, and I made a wish.
