Flower Friday

Late posting!  Painful foot still, so rested it up a bit today and started trying to sort the garden out a bit instead of going for a walk.  Just read that you shouldn’t remove the debris such as old leaves etc just yet as there may be overwintering larvae and pupae amongst them and it may destroy new life.  Never knew that, but stuck to cutting back dead wood etc which should probably have been done at the end of last year! Only flowers in the garden are on the Mahonia and the Skimmia, so here is the Mahonia - lots of teeny tiny buds, but not many open flowers as yet.  Behind on commenting too - will try to catch up this weekend!
