First grass cut of the year - just a light one on the top setting. Not so much a cut as a reminder to the grass that such things as lawnmowers still exist... Kind of a kick-start into the gardening season.

As I cut around the edge of the pond - missing all the snowdrops and crocus that Janet planted last year - this fellow looked up at me suspiciously. 

I managed a couple of shots, but didn't get the depth of field sufficiently wide enough to catch both eyes and mouth, before he said 'enough' and dropped into the weeds.
