Lily bud
Fully-opened lilies are usually the most often photographed aspect of this spectacular genus of flowering plants. However, here I've adopted a minimilist approach by removing an unopened bud with leaf stem and displaying it on a navy velvet garment to provide a simplified dark contrasting background. I've focused on the open end of the bud. It reminds me of a piglet's sweet little face with its floppy pink ears. Anyone else see that?!
